J.R.R. Tolkien's classic will be at the Bengal Theater once again for the 25th Anniversary of the "Lord of the Rings," with "Fellowship of the Ring" playing at 6 p.m. on Thur & Fri, April 30 & May 1. Then the "Two Towers" plays at 2:00 & 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 2.  And "Return of the King" plays at 2:00 & 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 3. The 1st show of each will be the original release, while the 2nd show of each will be the extended edition.  All three films were nominated for Best Picture Oscars for their 2001-2003 releases, with "Return of the King" becoming  the 2003 Best Picture winner and the most decorated movie in Oscar History, winning in all 11 categories it was nominated for.  The story tells of Middle Earth, and the smallest of people, the Hobbits, who are drawn into a clash between good and evil as the world of humans, elves and dwarves face the dark forces of Sauron.  The early shows will also have subtitles. Admission is $1 for each show or free for ISU students with Bengal ID.
