It's a $1 admission day as Al Pacino stars in Golden Globe nominated "Danny Collins," based on true events, featuring an aging rock star who discovers a 40-year-old letter written to him by John Lennon, and sets out to rediscover his life and those he left behind. Associated Press writes, "A redemption story doesn't always need to be bloody, and 'Danny Collins' gets the point across without pretense. Its closing scene alone, is worth the price of admission." This film continues the film society's "20 favorite films over the past 20 years" series. Admission is $1 or free for ISU students with Bengal ID.
